About the Britsh Congress for Mathematical Education (bcme)

BCME is an event timed to occur between its international equivalent, ICME. The intention is that all sections of mathematics and mathematical education should come together in a single conference to celebrate, enrich, refresh and build mathematical and pedagogical confidence and expertise.

Hitherto, it has been run on an ad-hoc basis; henceforth, and commencing with BCME-6, there is a determination amongst all its partners that BCME should be an established, visible and highly successful event that has its own identity, timing and impact.

How Brightlemon helped BCME

Brightlemon created a multi user content management system integrated with a conference booking system. This allowed for the web site to be updated securely and easily by a number of remote users. The booking process was automated for delegates to choose sessions, seminars and preferences for accomodation, meals and all conference details.
