info icon : question mark Visitors who find it difficult to use a mouse can navigate this website using keyboard activated access keys. The underlined letter in any link is that link's keyboard Access Key. Hold ALT and click the corresponding key to access. (In Internet Explorer, then press ENTER.)

*The access key to return to the home page is always the full stop '.'

Example:

On the main website menu, situated on the left of this and every page you will notice that all text links have one of their letters underlined.

For example; the link ' web design' has the letter 'w' underlined. You can either click this link with our mouse or access the link with the keyboard by pressing ALT ( CTRL on mac) and then the corresponding letter. (In this case the letter 'N')

If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, you will also have to then press ENTER on your keyboard to activate the link.

So...

On a Windows system, running Internet Explorer, we would activate the link above by doing the following:

  1. Press ALT on our keyboard.
  2. While ALT is still pressed, press the letter 'N'.
  3. Release all keys and then press ENTER.
  4. You will then be taken to the News & Events main page.

On a Mac, running Mozilla Firefox for instance, we would do the following:

  1. Press CONTROL (sometimes labeled 'CNTRL' ) on our keyboard.
  2. While CONTROL is still pressed, press the letter 'N'.
  3. You will then be taken to the News & Events main page.
