The e-Skills Week highlights the growing demand for skilled ICT users and professionals to drive a competitive and innovative Europe. This campaign seeks to inform students, young professionals and SMEs about the vast range of opportunities that ICT-related jobs present.

Throughout the coming months, public authorities, ICT companies, education institutions and students will engage in hundreds of activities, training events, competitions and much more. The awareness campaign will culminate in a dedicated European e-Skills Week from 1 to 5 March 2010.

This initiative of the European Commission’s DG Enterprise and Industry is coordinated by DIGITALEUROPE and European Schoolnet in conjunction with twenty national partners.

In order to make the e-Skills Week campaign and its events as widely known to Young People, Entrepreneur’s, SME’s and ICT Professionals across Europe, we need to ensure that we deliver the ‘e-Skills Week’ message at national levels where people work, study and inform themselves. To this end, we are seeking print and/or online media interested in partnering with us.

In order to partner with the European ‘e-Skills Week’ campaign your media should:

  • reach a significant number of readers,
  • have a range of communication channels available,
  • be relevant with the general e-Skills message

Media partnerships will be implemented in exchange for visibility.
If you are confident that your media meets these criteria and you are interested in working in partnership with the European e-Skills Week campaign, then we would like to hear from you.
