Drupal 7 is planning to be launched on the 5th of January 2011 with a number of launch parties taking place throughout the world. The UK community are putting together potentially one of the largest parties with a great venue which fits over 200 attendees.

Drupal 7 has had two years in the making with thousands of contributors working on the new release and its launch marks an exciting milestone for the Drupal community.

Presentations will start at 6:30pm, and there will also be an Ask A Drupal Expert booth.

There will be free pizza and drinks, plus various prizes will be given away including Drupal books from Packt Publishing, t-shirts, stickers, and Drupal Gardens heads from Acquia.

Being a London event, everybody will of course be moving to a pub afterwards.
