About Ova
Ova is a pharmaceutical product providing period pain relief.
It is manufactured by Tenscare - Europe's largest distributor
of Tens units.
The Requirement
Tenscare needed a mini site - to act as online brochure which
matched the branding and corporate identity of their offline
materials.
They also required an online shop which could collect credit
card details securely - to be processed via their existing offline
PDQ system.
It also had to have the ability to be updated easily by non-techincal
staff in house; generate reoprts and statistics of monthly sales;
allow a system for discount codes (which colud be printed in
the media and magazines).
The Solution - what Brightlemon did for Ova
e-commerce
Using a combination of open source and bespoke software - which
reduced overall project time and hence kept costs down for the
client - Brightlemon built a complete e-commerce solution.
The shop has its own administration area enabling every aspect
of the site to be updated by the client.
Web site design
The design was created to be consistent with the original print
and offline media produced previously by a third party agency.
Web site marketing
The Ova web site is in the process of being optimised for the
major search engines.
