Edge magazine describes the recession defying technology district by Shoreditch as “The Magic Roundabout” and investigates what makes the area so fitting for the digital industry.
Since the recent release of the Centre for London report, there has also been a lot of national news providing insight into the success of the area.
Founders of some of the most established businesses in “tech city” were interviewed for the article to describe what attracted them to the area and impact of the technology community on their businesses.
BrightLemon Director Leon Tong, describes the area as “an eco-system” which his company amongst others, has benefitted from being part of.
Kam Star, the founder of Playgen comments: “The companies who are thriving are the ones that are embracing innovation”.
“The Magic Roundabout” now boasts over 1000 digital companies and accounts for the employment of over 40,000 people – and it’s growing all the time.
